Saturday – 9/3/2016 – TTT

A – 2 position halting clean deadlift x 3, rest 3 min x 4 (2 sec pause below knee and at mid thigh)
245 – 255 – 265 – 275
Felt a little bit of grip at the 265, so I tightened up on the last set and it wasn’t as much of an issue, think I just underestimated that part at that load.
B – Push press 6,6,4,4,2,2. rest 3 min
185-195-205-215-225-xxxx last set I went for 235 couldn’t get it past my forehead. Waited 2 min and went for 225, same thing, I think it was as much a loss of mental focus after the miss as much as anything. And I was feeling a little rushed at this point to get my work done also.

C – 8 MU’s for time, rest 3-5 min x 5 sets (break these to try to keep under or close to 50-60sec/set)
40(5/3) – 50(5/2/1) – 53(4/2/2) – 55 (3/3/2) – 58(3/3/2)

D1 – Chest down trap 3 raise with DB @ 30X1 x 10/side
D2 – Foam roll thoracic extension with resistance – 40-45 sec of good tension, rest as needed x 5 sets each
