9/30

A1 – Dbl DB bench press x 12, rest 1 min

75 across – this was near top end, I could’ve got 1 more rep on the 1st set but not sure I could’ve on ensuing sets. Also not sure if I could’ve got the 80’s for 12 today.

A2 – Single DB on back box step ups x 24 alternating, rest 2 min x 4

55’s just slow and methodical trudging along but felt a little better here today than last week for the 20 reps last week

*note – not worried about DB’s touching at top, just ensure they’re locked out

For total time, working 60 sec on and 60 sec off

2 rounds of

120 DU’s

40 wallballs

40 chest to bar

Well, I had three inner voices giving me plans for what to do on CTB. the first time through i rocked it out, and was set up for pretty good execution. Coming through on the second round I was done with the wall balls on the 6th interval and that is when the inner voices of strategy started really talking. So starting the 7th interval I came out hot and did 15 reps out of the gate, there were three voices saying break small, quick rest and chip away, but the one voice said go for it, see if you can do it, and that was the voice i listened to and that was the voice that fucked me. I tried to hop back up and find some rhythm but for the most part I had to do singles to finish out that interval so I’m sitting at 20. The next interval i told myself to finish, but i did not, i did 7 and then singles to get myself to 35. And then those last 5 to start the 9th and last interval. Overall i’m actually pretty happy with how chest to bar pull ups felt. I could’ve without a doubt had better execution on the back end but Ifound some positional thing that I walked away with a little more confidence especially with the volume of 80 total CTB, i know there was a long break between the rounds but the volume completion is a win moving forward.
