As much of the community speaks out in disgust of the programming, I hold my breath and think of how beautiful it is. As a coach, I am so proud to be a part of something that is all inclusive, and encourages everyone to become a part of the sport of fitness. Day in and day out we scale movements for many of the the athletes at my box to participate in workouts that have hspu, muscle ups, rope climbs, cleans, snatches, etc. We have close to 50,000 participants and you know what everyone of them can participate to their fullest potential. Stop your belly aching, stop worrying about how cool the workouts looks on paper, and do the work. The best of the best are going to be on top regardless, so go out there and compare yourself with the fittest on earth. It will get harder, but for now, embrace the fact that is something you can do, have fun with and challenge your physical and mental limitations.
